Zendesk module will become chargeable from October 15th 2024

Since 2017, 202 ecommerce was Zendesk contractor in charge of the connector for PrestaShop. This connector was distributed for free, as far as it was financed by Zendesk.


In Q1 2024, Zendesk decided to stop providing an official connector for PrestaShop. 202 ecommerce was allowed to continue distributing the connector, but with a business on his own. 202 ecommerce started with a complete rework of this old connector, and added a payment solution.

Zendesk support was definitely halted on April 30th 2024, and subscription will be mandatory starting on October 15th 2024. After this date, the Zendesk application will stop functioning for all companies that did not subscribe, whatever module version is used. Keeping an old version of the module to avoid subscription is useless.

How to subscribe to PrestaShop connector for Zendesk ?

Subscription is done directly in the configuration screen of the version 2 of the module.

Merchants can choose between 2 payment solutions:
  1. Built For PrestaShop: charged and invoiced by PrestaShop via the Addons account. This option allows to manage all your subscriptions in one place.
  2. SEPA Direct Debit: online subscription via the link integrated into the module. Invoices will be emailed monthly.
For either payment option:
  1. One-month free trial.
  2. Pricing: 25 € for up to 3 agents, then 5 € per additional agent.
The number of agents detected on your Zendesk account is displayed in the Zendesk module configuration.
The subscription Fee is adjusted monthly based on the number of agents detected on your Zendesk account.
Light agents are free (not included in agent count).

Multishop specific information

In case PrestaShop is configured in multishop, subscription is due for every Zendesk account :
  1. 2 shops configured in all shops to 1 Zendesk account : only 1 subscription
  2. 2 shops toward 2 Zendesk account : 2 subscriptions
